Lovely day

What a difference a day makes, or a new year for that matter. My last blog had me complaining how horrible the day was, but today, the first day of the new year, and the first chance I've had to get out with my camera, has been beautiful.

This is a shot of Holme Moss.

Holme Moss (524 metres/1,719 ft) is a moor in the South Pennines of England, on the border between the High Peakdistrict of Derbyshire and the Kirklees district of West Yorkshire. It is just inside the boundary of the Peak District National Park. The moor is crossed by the A6024 road between Longdendale and Holmfirth, whose highest point is near the prominent mast of Holme Moss transmitting station (information from Wikipedia).
