She has been going there for about 50 years, was the warden and is still heavily involved in what goes on there. I mentioned I'd really like a look around and she said no problem, I have a set of keys. With permission to take photos, my wife and I had a guided tour a few Sundays ago and learnt a great deal about the church and its history. We had a fascinating and very enjoyable afternoon.
I love black and white photography and I love taking pictures. Having dabbled with black and white processing in the dark room I succumbed to the ease of technology and began to use some simple apps on my Mac to convert my shots. I've now started using Nik Silver Effects 2. Using this blog I hope to share some of my favourite pictures and occasionally some thoughts on our not so black and white world. I may also occasionally publish a colour picture or two.

St David's Church, Holmbridge
We moved house recently and one of our new neighbours is 93. She is an amazing lady, still driving her car, very fast, to the shops and church. She made us very welcome when we moved in and brought us a copy of the church magazine. We're not religious but accepted it with thanks and asked about the church in Holmbridge.
