My black and white world

I love black and white photography and I love taking pictures. Having dabbled with black and white processing in the dark room I succumbed to the ease of technology and began to use some simple apps on my Mac to convert my shots. I've now started using Nik Silver Effects 2. Using this blog I hope to share some of my favourite pictures and occasionally some thoughts on our not so black and white world. I may also occasionally publish a colour picture or two.

Behind the green door

I originally published this image in black and white, but it keeps catching my eye in colour in my photographic archive and after tinkering with it decided to publish the colour version too. Originally I preferred the black and white shot, but now I'm not sure.
