My black and white world

I love black and white photography and I love taking pictures. Having dabbled with black and white processing in the dark room I succumbed to the ease of technology and began to use some simple apps on my Mac to convert my shots. I've now started using Nik Silver Effects 2. Using this blog I hope to share some of my favourite pictures and occasionally some thoughts on our not so black and white world. I may also occasionally publish a colour picture or two.

Not too colourful

For my first non black and white shot I've not published something that has too much colour. I did try converting this to black and white but couldn't quite get it to work so just tweaked the colour shot slightly. The subject fits slightly with my door theme.
